While I wasn't completely in the Christmas spirit (as I normally would be), my body was happy to be out and walking and my mind was happy for the distraction. This year has been very difficult (the past two, really), with Hubby's health issues, my cancer scare, and the loss of Clover just yesterday... 
I could lose myself in a sea of cheer and just... be... for an hour, with no one asking me how I'm doing, or how hubby's doing, or if I'm ready for Christmas, or any of that BS.
