Another early morning. The first couple of hours was beautiful riding through Morton NP, but also challenging on very rocky tracks. Things got easier once I got to Nerriga, and I gradually got into a rhythm as I made good progress to Braidwood and then Bungendore, the official end of the route. The riding onto Goulburn should have been fairly straightforward - flat/rolling terrain all on tarmac - but even though my legs demanded fuel my stomach couldn’t handle the thought of food - and so my legs died somewhere just after Tarago. The final hour and a half was a slog, and I was ruined by the time I made it to Goulburn. A good training run for S2S in March.
