NO WASTE – small changes still matter! 

I joined the EPIC GRAN CANARIA race today … it was a beautiful morning but when I looked besides the street I got annoyed and today I cannot hold it back anymore. Why do so many cyclists continue to throw their water bottles and gel packaging into nature? I picked up the water bottle I saw today besides the street and put it in the back of my Jersey to proof that this weight of the waste does not prevent you from being fast! 80g of weight will neither make you win nor lose – I got 2nd today carrying the bottle with me 😉. 
We, as outdoor sports people need the nature … we feel joy being in the nature … nature gifts us beautiful moments and memories. So why would we ever want to harm something that gives us so much? 
Please stop throwing away waste.
