Evening Ride

Four months ago… 😳 😮

so this got interesting real quick. totally desolate on a sunny ☀️ sunday am, didn’t seen 1 person, but at mile 4 I hear barking and a MASSIVE pit bull terrier 🐕 with Dwayne The Rock Johnson muscles 💪 comes running up ready to attack 😠 , I was fully prepared to pepper spray him and not go down without a fight. 🥊 however, I quickly realized “she” was friendly… I was too intimidated to start running though, in case she decided to feel threatened and bite me. once I DID start jogging, 🏃‍♀️ she decided to keep up with me for the last 9 MILES!!! 😮 occasionally she’d hunt a pigeon or drink from the stream then catch up with me way down the trail! 🤯 I called her “Lucky” 🍀 bc I was lucky she didn’t kill me and it IS March! I felt so much safer with her and wish I could bring her to FL, but I know she’s a lost hunting dog (no collar) 😔. The park ranger was able to get her to a local animal shelter - I hope someone gives her a good home 🏡
