Alright, sports fans, we are back in the good ol U.S. of A. and I am racing and I am reporting. I need to get crack-a-lackin' because I have been slack-a-lackin' on my recaps and these are as much for me as they are for y'all because life is moving pretty fast and I am barely processing any of it as I work to dumb myself down to near-zero IQ to become the most effective bike racer I can be, which, as my research has concluded, is one that can shut off all the senses and feel nothing. 

Which brings us to the first stage of this year's RBC, the newer Lake Perris TT course, which mixes some crosswind dam action with some bike path ragin with good ol fashioned wide ass California boulevards. Honestly, on my end, not much to report, as I put in my best effort today and that's all I was looking for. #ijustwanteveryonetohavefun

On the team end, I honestly don't know the exact results because at time of writing, they still haven't been posted, but resident rager Hugísimo Scala Jr. ripped a ridiculous 2nd place finish off of pure ballz n wattz and we are so proud of him. Colby I think(?????) nabbed 5th or 6th place, which is a sensational ride from him as well, and Ricky finish 4 seconds behind me, which keeps the streak alive of us finishing darn near next to each other, but me beating his ass by a razor thin margin. Suck it Richard. 

It was toasty and looks to be another day in a hair dryer tomorrow as we take on the director's cut extended edition of last year's onyx summit stage, which now includes a small circuit race at the base of the climb follow by a lil loop in the middle of the climb? Will this shake things up? Will we bludgeon each other into oblivion on this TWO HOUR CLIMB?!?!?! Will it be a slog that lasts 5ever to be duked out in the last kilometer? We shall see. 

What I do know is it is cereal o'clock. My HBOO is calling, and I must answer.
