The penultimate day! But pretty much the last day. Today was about as perfect as we could have hoped for to end our hike. The sun was shining, the trail was cruisy, and we took an hours-long break at a fancy resort to get a big lunch with greens and drinks and gorgeous patio views. Another day of easy graded trail and stunning views, we walked our way down the ridge and between bays and inlets, enjoying the crystal clear waters of Queen Charlotte sound. There was a small accommodation/shop about a kilometre from our campsite tonight and we swung through just in time for me to literally run down the hill and buy my last ice cream of the trail, which I then got to enjoy walking to our last camp under a stunning sunset. Justin went for a dark dip in the ocean that I was not brave enough to join him for but I’ll swim tomorrow when we officially finish this thing!
