He is a twice caught doper which means he should have a life time ban but he snitched on Lance so yeah a 6 month vacation in the off season no less, is what he received. He spent years stealing money and careers out of the hands of clean US pros. He would race here fully geared up against clean US pros and then go race in Europe. The first time he was busted was as an amateur!  The second time was when he was hauled in front of a US. court and forced to testify. 

You would think that he would be so embarrassed and ashamed of his actions that he would find a career as far away from what he did as possible, but no! He names a race after himself! WTF!? Can you imagine?! It is like having the Bernie Madoff School of Finance. 

So as we all praise him for a great gravel race, just remember everything he has in life and literally the ONLY reason you know his name is because he spent years injecting himself with EPO and blood bags and then stealing from people who didn't.
