Long day of gorges & mountains - rather too closely linked together! Dropped into headwaters of gorge below campsite & followed it until there was some serious rock hopping from one side of the river to the other. Big climb out from there & then equally big descent to the bottom of the Goynuk canyon. Zip wires & cafes weren’t here 12 years ago but the latter did provide some good potato gozleme. Then a long slog up the next gorge, topping out at the highlight of the day (& maybe the trip) at “Uncle’s Gateway” a superb rocky col with an outlook to loads of other ridges. Then some traversing before a bit of descent off the back towards Hisircandir to set me up for finishing tomorrow.
Some 26km 1,400m to go.
