Happy with that. Legs have been in the bin all week; cramping on Tuesday, then DOMS after getting back in the gym on Wednesday. Glutes still a bit sore, but not too bad. Power was around what I'd expected based on the 10 miler a few weeks ago, which meant I was able to pace it much better today. And left right balance better - Rehab finally paying off?! Definitely still a rolling course, so had to go over that 390-400 W target quite often when it started to drag. Tailwind out, Headwind back, but with the hills it didn't feel like a brick wall on the way back, felt more crosswindy. Was very busy traffic wise today, maybe that's why, not unsafe other than one close pass right at the end. Position also felt much better. Saw Matt on Monday and we made some changes, but he mainly just giving me some direction in the position I'm aiming for - no shrug and forward, a bit more Remco-esque, but also trying to stay planted on sit bones, which is necessary for the longer events. Was locked into this position the whole time, position fatigue only really crept in during the last quarter, much better than my saddle sore suffer fest last year. Went 47 sec faster than this event on the A25/34 last year. Also with this being the first event on the A25/33, guess that gives me the CR.
