Afternoon Run

Started at 8 and maybe 12 cars ahead of me.   Passed a few groups in the first ~mile and then it was pretty quiet.  Slushy-muddy mess for the flat part in the trees before the summit cone.  Felt like thousands coming up when I was going down.  Nightmare scenario narrowly avoided drive out...a minibus was stuck in the ditch on the left and the line of parked cars on the right....folded in my mirrors and barely squeaked through in my Honda Fit...would have been a bummer to have to wait for a wrecker or the person who had just started their hike to return to move their car!
