And feeling kind of dismayed about how hot it felt. Guess I have a good amount more heat training to do. Not really surprising given how cold it's been on all my weekend big outings. 

After a rail trail warm up, I did hard up hills then float on flats and downhills until Shaker. Tried to keep it fairly steady from there on, but I was really flagging. My calves are not ready for the carbon shoes and I was overheated and feeling dehydrated in spite of having taken on nearly 1 liter during the run. Also one gel and one carb bottle for about 80g of carbs.

Definitely still sick - coughing waking me up at night and hopefully resting HR and overnight HRV. That's maybe most of feeling pretty crap.

Still I had to get out while it was warm and sunny after so much time in the cold rain. 🌞
