Sounded good on paper

Except it was paronychia, which is a fancy word for toenail infection. Got my toe drained at urgent care, I’m on antibiotics and I’m back like a bad paronychia. Went full damage control mode at my parents the past few days. Lots of horizontal time with bags of ice. Felt surprisingly good today and put in more miles than I thought I would with the late start. I’m trying out a new pair of Hoka Stinson’s, which are like monster trucks on my feet. They lack the solid traction I’m used to due to the lack of vibram soles, but they have great toe protection, which to me at this point trumps everything else. I even went a full size up so the piggies have plenty of room to play. Time to try and get back into the swing of things 

Shoutout my stepdad for dropping me off today. I’m beyond fortunate to have the support system that I do
