This section of trail is a dream. Not only my body, but my mind hasn’t felt this strong since Virginia. Today was seamless.

7am Pepsi at the trail stand. Cookies and hibiscus tea in the afternoon from the cookie lady. Now nestled up on the legendary Tom Levardi’s lawn with a dozen other thru hikers. Tom’s been harboring us kooks on his lawn for 46 years. Roughly 800-1000 thru hikers each year. The man’s got infinite stories from generations past. Was lucky to share some porch time with Tom. One of those encounters where you just shut up and listen.

Ate a disgusting amount of food in town. Shocker. Bugs weren’t as bad today so I’ll try to refrain from bitching going forward. No promises
