Rib tester after two and a half weeks off. Ended up feeling better than I expected, though there was still some tightness/twinges here and there, mostly on the 5.10 pitches (but not Supa).

I led the Iggy approach IAP to just test things out, and then Danny led the roof and the handcrack so I could let go if I felt my rib tweaking.

Finally doing the Sooberb roof on TR, I was able to try some new beta that I think will be the unlock to finally sending. Lock the left knee, but then re-lock it a little bit higher so that I then can reach the high three-finger pocket for the left hand. Honestly I was just psyched to follow clean and without re-injury.

Handcracker is glorious but I could tell my arms were out of shape and already getting a little tired. Not pumped tho.

On our way to Supa we had a quick chatby with Amanda who was headed to Grandma’s with a friend. Props, that thing is hard.

Danny led Supa, looking for a send that he hadn’t had there in a while and found said send easily. I was psyched to follow clean, feeling like I have that pitch wired. But it ain’t easy for me. Was really psyched that my fingers felt much stronger than I expected. Kinda like they hadn’t lost a step, honestly.  

Egressed to the bikes with Brad Bond, who had been working on Dandelion Wine and was trying to sell us on it. Perhaps. First summer day in Eldo for me! Shorts, no jacket or even shirt necessary. 

Ribs def aren’t 100% and I still need to be careful, but I can definitely climb!
