Afternoon Run

Ran the first few km at the front with Kane - feeling pretty comfy on a section I knew better than the other guys. Running alone in 4th from 8 - 14km which was tough mentally. Got passed by Lucky on the long climb and then had some calf issues along the traverse which allowed Christiaan to catch up by the turnstile and put 30sec on me. Absolute agony for the last 3km trying to catch him, and managed to do so with about 100m to go and beat him by a second.
Good race. Some things could have gone better, but can't complain when you're beating the Otter champ ;)
