I was prepared for this run to be very rainy, so I was pleasantly surprised when it was only kind of rainy. I was unprepared, however, for the lack of running fitness that I experienced after just a one-week pause in training — and that very unpleasant, on multiple levels. Still, I’m thankful that Mark and Tyler kept me going. It almost always feels better to have run, even when it doesn’t feel good to run.
