Record paragliding day for me:  longest flight by distance and longest FAI triangle.

My buddy Dave and I flew what we think to be the biggest "FAI Triangle" via PG from the Sandias.

Top of lift was over 20,000'.  Legally we can't fly over 18,000'.  The lift was so strong above 17,000' we had to work hard to not get sucked up over 18K.  The main technique for that is a spiral dive which is exhausting:  https://youtube.com/shorts/pQGLp7lcA3o?si=Ql3u9W7soFwzzwZY
Because of all the crazy strong lift it wasn't a technically hard flight, but it was a physically demanding flight.  Also spending so much time over 16K was very tiring.
