Warm Up

Quick run this morning trying to lose a bit more water weight before my annual physical. Would have liked to go longer, but didn't have enough time given the 7:30 appointment 45 minutes from my home. Run didn't feel too bad, definitely working. One mile easy, two moderate, half easy at the end. Came through the mile in 5:44 and just wanted to make the second one quicker. Last quarter mile cost me a couple segments as it was a decent climb and I was pretty tired. Cool down wasn't super slow.

Physical was fine, still in good health. Grew another quarter inch, officially 6 feet tall now. I'll take that as a nice birthday present. Unfortunately, my doctor informed me he's retiring at the end of the year, so I'll be getting a new doctor. It was a good 17 year run, as I was a mere 4'10" when I started seeing him and look at me now. Hot double later, that should be "fun"
