Every athlete needs a personalized training plan. Period.

Here’s why: We’re all built differently—physiologically and psychologically. Our muscle fiber composition, metabolism, recovery rate, hormone levels, and even mental resilience are shaped by our genetics and our lived experiences. What works for one rider may burn out another.

If you’re serious about growth, the fastest and most sustainable path is a program built around you—your goals, your story, and your current data. That means VO2 max, lactate threshold, power curve, sleep patterns, and stress levels all matter.

Yeah, you can follow cookie-cutter plans, jump in fast group rides, or take advice from someone yelling at you who may not actually want to see you get stronger. But real progress? That comes from precision.

Take two athletes: one naturally lean, fast-twitch dominant; the other carrying more body fat, with slow-twitch endurance potential. Same workout = different outcomes. Why? Because their bodies use fuel differently, recover differently, and adapt on separate timelines.

Bottom line: training should reflect you, not the loudest voice on the ride.

Find someone who sees you, knows the science, and wants you to win. That’s the move.
