Fun day, went as well as I could have reasonably hoped. First 8 with the 3:05 group, then got bad foot pain out of nowhere (probably from racing on shoes with 400 mi? idk). Slower pace and a couple sponges under my heel fixed it. Lost all my banked up time by 16, then lost more time to humidity and cramps starting around 20. Happy to be able to keep the walking to the aid stations. Great atmosphere with all the bands, bridges, cousins, fog, friends, runners, trees, water, etc. Gotta do this again but all trained up :)
