No, this is not The Vasaloppet. 

But a spontaneous decision and a not so spontaneous drive from Houghton, I got to don a repurposed bib from a previous such event for The Best Last Chance Challenge 10k/20k. Less than desired quantity and quality of sleep made me switch from (almost) 20k to (almost) 10k but fast conditions on narrow yet pretty trails that snake around the woods on warm 15 F day made for a (almost) new PR.
