Lot of learning about Italy's public transit today. Oh boy. This lake is amazing but this loop has 20km of tunnels.... Very sketch. Companies rent e-bikes to unsuspecting families who probably soil themselves getting buzzed by trucks in dark holes. I would recommend not doing this loop.

Alternative: Bike from Garda to Salo and take a ferry back to Garda, all the tunnels are in the northern section where the lake is flanked by massive mountains.
