Probably the best I’ve felt for this distance in a while (at least when I finished... tomorrow might be a different story!) High-5’d Ron1 on my way out on 179; looked like he was finishing up a run. At 5.5 miles I came across Michele and Ron2 in the Hot Loop Lot; they just finished a run.

I had my eyes wide open looking for that rattler on Old Man's Wash and those couple grassy social trails I was on; I turned off the tunes too so I could hear it... darn, lizards can make you jumpy! No angry snakes, whew!!

Finishing temp = 88*. 7.25# hydration pack on start
