Fasted. 44.4 pound ruck. Shorts, shirtless, shoeless.

Mom was up earlier than normal, so we got out the door earlier than normal. Mom took yesterday off from walking, but seemed fairly refreshed today. She did not set any PBs, but we did manage to do our usual amount of memory work. Yesterday, since she didn't walk, we didn't do any and the day before, since she was walking crazy fast (for her) in the beginning, we did very little. So, it's nice to be back to "normal".

My feet are toughening up and I really don't feel the weight per-se, nor does the weight annoy my right foot. As such, I kept my pack on as I boiled chicken for the cat and did other minor housework. However, after I did that, I put on my Olympus 6s with the incision on the right side and planned on running toward the golf course as long as my foot wasn't too uncomfortable, but it was too uncomfortable with the first step. Ugh.

Later today, I'll put on my bike shoes and see what my right foot thinks of that. I need a little work done on my bike before I can ride, but if my feet are OK in those shoes, I'll bite the bullet and take it to the shop Andy Gray recommended and then start riding my bike so I don't lose any more cardio fitness. I'll probably also stop wearing my ruck on my walk with mom. :-(
