Beautiful day for another opportunity to use God’s gift! I set out to break 50 minutes for this race back in March and I’m stoked that I called the shot (honestly I think the goal was too easy, I think 49:30 could have happened)! 

Was solo from the gun and had the patrol car “pace” me for a few miles, but other than that I was basically alone. It was nice to have the HM racers to chase and I got all but one. S/O Nik Thomas 

The plan was 5:0x for mile 1 and 4:56-4:59 for 2-8 until the hills in the last 2. Mission accomplished. A tad of doubt at mile 6, but otherwise this was low key 🎂.  Always a pleasure to toe the line with Luke Moore 

Blessed to have another chance to race at my best. MJ’s coming any day now. Stroller miles incoming.
