Steepness has reached another level: Eiger 101 2025. Because of the storm forecast the race had a 70k recorder. Hats off to the Eiger organization who on the exact hour knew when and where the local storms - short but fierce - would hit. 
Running (…) up the hill on the Männlichen east side, we saw the storm at Schnydige Platte  roaming on exactly the time we would run there if running the original 101. Same for the stormclouds above Wengen /west side Männlichen which has a knee-breaking revered climb across high avalanche breakers..  ..perfect lightning deflectors - so a definite no-go for the run. Glad that the Eiger organisation approaches the runs with rocket-science spirit. Was a shorter run, but the incredible steepness on the trail made it a true Swiss style challenge.
