This ride almost didn’t happen. When I opened up my bike bag, my protein powder had exploded all over my bike and riding kits. Derailleur was nearly derailed and very loose. Found a cool bike mechanic working out of his garage in St. Gervais, and he fixed Norm right up! Communicated via Google Translate 😂. Also used the least dirty of my riding kits. Still smelled like chocolate the whole ride and I could feel the grit on me. Tough climb, but at least I had a sweat-activated protein-infused kit!
