I’ve only ridden up Fred Canyon a couple times, but every time I’ve ridden up the bottom half of Kitchen Creek to get to it. For reasons that are inexplicable to me, it had never occurred to me to descend Kitchen Creek Road to get to Fred Canyon. So I made a route that did just that. And a whole bunch of other things too. I managed to take advantage of some absolutely stellar summer weather in the mountains to knock this one out. Not too hot, a nice on shore breeze even up high, and pretty much empty trails and roads. Good times!
