Hey, Roy. You would have hated the ride today. Slow, gravel, stopping for pictures. You would have listened to me tell you about it, but in your head I’m sure you were saying “not for me”. 

You were an inspiration to me, helped me find a love for cycling as a teenager and always celebrated my achievements. Meanwhile you just kept riding even at 93. 

You were a good step-father to me, and my kids will miss their Grampa Roy. 

RIP Roy 💔. I hope St. Peter lets you wear a yellow jersey around heaven. 😞
