All day with Sunrise and Huckleberry. Leaving I-80 corridor, mild views and terrain except for punchy no-switchback hills and final climb. Powerlines, gunshots. Saw cool anthill. Met a few nobos, trail song. Bit of a dry stretch. Caught up to Germans Richard/Vicky. Lots of folks at stream, cameled up and packed six liters for upcoming dry stretch. Broke plastic spoon, got a new one from Vicky. Met meatwagon’s brother. Sunrise/Huckleberry hammer up big hill, camp on windy ridge.
