Could not ask for much better weather than this. Beautiful day to work outside and to ride outside afterwords. 
Tried to ride on some roads I hadn’t ridden on before and realized why I had not ridden many of the yet (highways). Still found some cool dirt roads and thought I was on the outskirts of tongy three different times. 
Tonganoxie was a fairly unremarkable small town itself but stumbling upon the Leavenworth county fair was fun. First cow pictured was 1,421 pounds 😮 
The countryside west of Tonganoxie was very reminiscent of the Ozark region north of Bentonville ar. Very deep valleys, windy roads, and steep hills. Coming out of the Tonganoxie creek valley made the hills look like mini mountains to the west.
Glad to finally have the opportunity to ride north with the north wind
