Rode the bumper of the lead out truck till Mandan then was in a lead group of 5. Entered into the singletrack 3rd with a little gap to 1st/2nd. They took off a little on highland, I closed the gap to 2nd on magic carpet ride but 1st was gone by then. Got a gap on a techy section of point trail then tried to hammer the gap and hang on for the old school lodge trails. Ended up p2 on the day. Solid 9/10 execution for a “B-“ race.
