Day 8 of my Fastest Known Time (FKT) attempt on the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) through Washington. I enjoyed one of most enjoyable trail running sections of my life as I descended from Red Pass into forested and waterfall areas in the late evening. I stopped when I reached the hard-flowing Kennedy River in the dark and decided to await morning to cross.
