Great race, seriously great. Exactly my sort of trails & gradients. And if the beauty of the race itself isn’t sufficient to woo you, there’s also a free ride down in the funicular railway afterwards. Gets my seal of approval. 

Beautiful paths carpeted in pine needles, moments of flow for respite, just marred slightly by the unwelcome buzz of passing motorbikes riding too quickly over the Passo Mendola.
