Morning Ride

The last 5 days were a real mix of emotions, mostly good. There were amazing British landscapes, proper torrential rain, sun, lots of wind (happy to say tail wind mainly), night riding, specially through the Scottish Highlands, almost vertical walls to climb… all of which under an Immense lack of sleep. That’s what Audax is all about, they say. Well, to finish this route you surely need to be audacious and make sure you’re well rested each day you go on the bike. Would I do it again? Probably, but not in 5 days and without decent pausing each day. All in all was an incredible adventure, one I won’t forget for a long time to come.
