Too quick of a quickie

Some off day fun. Checked it off the list. Smooth sailing to Kaleetan Lake. Then some pretty nasty bushwhacking below the boulders. On the return I found a slightly better way, at least for September when the swampy bits are passable. After that it was a long trek back. In retrospect I should have finished the Granite loop, going down that rocky trail from Melakwa on tired legs is rough. Or, alternatively, I could have gone down the other side of Carolina and out via Snow Lake.
