Westchester Dirt - Brian's "Turkatonement" extended

(Actually ~60mi/7000 ft - didn't hit record at start)
When Jeff D reached out about doing a GrNY-MHBC team-up to replace the cancelled Ride the Ridge event, I was onboard.  We had a fantastic turnout of riders and a whole lot of fun.  All the trails and all the climbs!  And maybe a few more adventures than we planned for (i.e., a few spills - including for yours truly - thankfully nothing serious and folks rode onward).  Our Long Distance group formally split in two early in the ride, which worked out great.  Thank you Nick for leading out the faster half of the group to save the rest of us from inevitable chasing!

There was some good hangout time after the ride at Fishkill Farms, which included cold drinks, and for some, additional hearty food and apple cider donuts.  Thank you to everyone who joined us today and made it a fun time!  We hope to see you out there for future rides.

** Foolishly, I didn't press "record" until 3.6 miles had passed, including the first big climb of the day (so missing about 800 ft of solid climbing).  That's what happens when you are too busy playing MC.  Oh well!  I can assure you that no KOM's would have been earned, hahaha! **
