getting better at Mortar Rock - hanging/taping/traversing and then gradually pulling on moves is a pretty good warmup (though L mid A2 pulley felt pretty rough at the start of puling on), and the new camp chair was great if only because it made me way more likely to take rests (though there was enough of a crowd that i couldn't just spam the boulder).

other than trying random moves on Nat's and attempting The Ramp once or twice when i was bored i mostly worked Sunshine (V5). first move feels REALLY hard at the start of the day but eventually feels easy. actually stuck the first slap move (wasn't actually hard, go figure) and managed to do the link i wanted to do (up to the start of the topout sequence). because there were enough spotters i tried the topout and got it once - need to body english a bit with the legs to make it not tension-y but it wasn't that scary (though i did take two falls, one onto the rock and one onto an spot where only the blubber was, so i guess given those were fine ive probably seen the worst). climbing with tape honestly maybe felt better than without - there were one of two times where the tape seemed to be a hindrance but everything is so fucking sharp having better feeling doesnt actually seem like an improvement.

good session - have the climb in 2 overlapping links and it feels very doable, just hope i can get back on it for send goes before i forget the beta.
