Legs were a little creaky after the drive from the Thielsen TH to McLoughlin, though the view of a clear and calm Crater Lake made the drive worthwhile and inspiring.  Started out easy and worked into the same climbing effort I used on Thielsen, though probably could have used another gel or two on this second peak.  Felt about as good as I expected.  Snowfield of the summit is shrinking, but consolidating, so some great foot-ski glissade action on the way down.  Lots of people on the mountain today. Overall, 7,640 ft of vert and 18 miles for the two summits today, If I can find a third to throw in to make it 10,000 ft that would be the next step...
