I was lucky to have shorts in this festival a long time ago (2006, 2010), but I've just been on the shorts screening committee since then.  Back then, it was considered insane of me to bike to my own screenings, so now I just run there? 🤷‍♂️  I took the GGT 150 to the same point for my Bay to Lake scouting, and I had some BtL flashbacks throughout the day.

was about US-Japan international relations through baseball.  Adrian Jue , you might especially appreciate the baseball history.

was about actor-turned-filmmaker Ben McKenzie's crypto skepticism.  Afterwards on the sidewalk, chatter among Marinites was wondering how much crypto exposure they had.

🍸 after screenings, in Mill Valley: 2am Club coke and to reenact the Huey Lewis and the News' _Sports_ album cover 🤩
🥪 after screenings, back in SF: Golden Gate Market Deli & Liquor

After all the times going down Alexander Ave. during TSFM or Run365 training, I think this was the first time I ran up it.  I'm reminded Alexander isn't so bad when not in supershoes or with race expectations.  However, I have the inverse sentiment with the bridge itself where I don't like the vehicle noise, wind, and vertigo in training, but somehow it's calm and quiet on race mornings.
