Interesting race with block headwind and social pace in the middle, then absolute full gas otherwise. Lots of pavement, lots of hellish washboard. Had a great day. Legs were strong and actually enjoyed (in hindsight) that crazy summit finish. Maybe could’ve pinged ahead of the GC boys at the bottom like a few others did, but still rebuilding the confidence. Regardless, was so nice to actually be in the final of the race a bit for the first time this week.
