Training Ride 85 - 2025 - Early Birthday bike ride, as it was beautiful out there today- 17c☀️👌

Trainer 74 - 2025 - After a day's work, so it was ok

Training Ride 83 - 2025 - To nice not too ☀️😁

2 of us today, as Thierry was racing somewhere else. It was a 14 lap race and there was 3 small climbs on each lap. We decided to go from the start, so as we hit the first climb I attacked, I got a small gap but on the descent it came back together, so on the next climb Calum went. Again it came back together, so I went again this time I opened a gap with a couple of riders. Then further round the lap Calum jumped across, so then it was hammer time. We worked together and got the gap out to 30 secs it then stayed like that for a few laps. Then we opened up the gap a bit more and got it out to 50secs. So we knew we were safe, so we set about trying to win the race. I attacked first but it got closed down, then Calum went, but again it got closed down. I then went again and then finally Calum got the gap with one other rider  with him. The attacks had dropped one of the other riders, so it was just me and another guy. I attacked a few more times to try and get over to Calum, but I couldn't drop the other rider. So we finished Calum 2nd ( chain slipped in the sprint) and me 3rd. We also had another teammate win in 2nd cat, so he now moves up to 1st cat. So we are now a very strong team.
