Decided to turn this into a proper workout since after 1 mile I could feel I was still beat up from Sunday and Monday. Time trialed for 2 miles. Took a 24 second break. Then pushed to 4k before calling it. Course is running fast today!! Especially the paved parts. Feel like if I pushed all the way I could have run in the low 15’s but didn’t feel a need to prove anything and being solo combined with the humidity killed my motivation to hammer the last 1k. From how this felt I have a feeling there will be some fast times today!!

Think I will take another crack at this in two weeks when i am properly recovered just to see what I can do. Honestly think I could run 14:4x on this course with a more rested body. Feel like If I just held on for the last 1.1 miles I probably would have run around 15:00-05 but want to give myself a real proper 5k time trial before CIM and Christmas relays.
