TrainingPeaks Virtual - Workout: Threshold Two Tens

Good course with nice little climb, and drag up to the finish. Started mid bunch , then moved up to the front on second lap but ended up going into the red doing a turn on the front so scuttled back to about 15th to have a rest . On the third lap ballsed up the sketch corner before the climb and got tailed off. Luckily it slowed down so managed to get back on. Thought that I needed to be closer to the front . 2 riders had attacked and got away but I was in the main group with 3 other Ilkley riders with us all near the front . Felt good when climbing , tough on the flat. On the final lap ended up on the front on the climb and as we turned left to head up the drag towards the finish a rider came around me and I got on his wheel. Started to get excited and didn’t want to look around as we were in the final km. Then I heard the dreaded whoosh of the peleton and 20 riders cane past in the last 300m . Despite this v happy with how it went especially when I thought I’d probably get dropped . 1 Ilkley rider in top 10 so a good night for the club.
