What a fun race! Did it simply because Theja Putta said “show up in Texas, it’ll be fun” and he was right. Immaculate vibes and goofiness, and cool to have a course with these out and back loops where you get to see more of other runners and cheer them on.  Despite being congested this week, felt fantastic on this run. It’s such a flat course, I wasn’t sure how I would fare actually having to run so much of it, and was happily surprised at my ability to hold my pace. 

Theja zoomed off in the beginning, but I happened to catch up, and we got to do the last lap and finish together!

P.s. Every race should have karaoke at the finish line
