I underestimated how much more energy it takes to ride gravel than bitumen…and dodge the (possibly) wet cow pats, rocks, sticks which could have been snakes (!), and the viscious little gullies! But the birds were happy and no cars 🙌
Did I mention the Rail Trail refuge has a great little plunge pool. Perfect refreshing dip at end of ride before drive back to coast!
