Fantastic event by Chris Bradley and the Runaway Racing team. Great cheering in the woods by ECH & LCH. Interesting course with 4 punchy climbs and fast descents. Chuffed with the result, moved up after the first climb to battle for 2nd/3rd for most of the race, got dropped every climb and clung on for the descents. Got caught and turned into a three-way shootout in the last km (?) just about held on for 2nd place by 3 seconds 😮‍💨 The mile and km PR for the first descent was a bonus! 😂
