Organiser's Comments
The sun shone yet again, two events in a row now and the weather was great unless you were navigating into the sun to the south. Again excellent courses, this time planned by Tom Edelsten of GO and controlled by Jim Fleming of TVOC with help from Mike Smith,  Tom, Jim & Mick also spent hours cutting the rides for you to allow easier trip free running. We ended up making use of other toilets that were already on site and perfectly positioned. In fact there were portaloos all over the place, although none actually booked for our event and we had to raise the 3 by the caterer as they had been toppled over and weirdly loads of poo bags popped out, so they must have been there for a while for the dog walkers to be able to stuff the bags in them.  Competition at the top was again fierce with a fine win for Richard Barrett and the honours in the Rollins family went to Sarah who now has bragging rights over that well known FVO member, Dave Rollins, but where would Tommy have come if he had been home?
Next week we are on Baros*a.   No film set and we are racing out of the middle of the area.
As it is the Nick Bateson memorial event soon thought I would post a pic with him in it, he is bottom left with a young Dave Rollins stood behind him, how many others can you recognise (Ken Williams doesn't count!)
