Went back to the site of many of my traumas- Balgay. These hill efforts were almost a weekly occurrence until I discovered the freedom of being uncoached and they have been neglected ever since (unsurprisingly). 

Turns out I am actually faster than pro racer Elena ever was and so I’m thinking either I need to get back the to world cups or I was actually just shit all along and it’s probably good thing I also started the whole uni degree back then 🧐
