It was a nice ride until it wasn’t. Not sure what happened but the end result was painful. I stopped but no go.  Fortunately no one else was involved. Just me. 

Ten broken ribs, some ribs have multiple fractures. Also broke my clavicle and my scapula.  May have surgery to repair the ribs with multiple fractures and collarbone. Discussion with surgeon hopefully tomorrow morning  

I have no idea what happened. I remember starting the descent, this is normally a 35 mph descent then I was talking to the paramedics in the ambulance on my way to Mission Hospital.

There goes the first part of ski season ☹️
